The Story Behind the Fingerprint
Fingerprints are unique to every individual—no two are exactly alike. In the autism community, fingerprints have come to symbolize individuality, identity, and the idea that each autistic person experiences the world in their own way. They represent the understanding that autism is not a single story or presentation, but a spectrum of strengths, perspectives, and needs. Fingerprint imagery reflects respect for neurodiversity and honors the importance of seeing and valuing each person as they are, uniquely themselves.
